Entertaiment is a collection of images illustrating the range of entertainment possibilities that have developed in all forms of media. Its versatility enables the collection to be adapted for almost any scale: from a single personal selection in a store’s audio-visual catalogue; to a dinner party with appropriate music and dance; to performances for thousands of people; or, indeed, to an entire nation. While the term is often associated with amusement, many entertainments have a more serious purpose.
